Dr. Crenshaw is proud to be from Durham, NC.
She received her Bachelor of Science with a focus in Veterinary Bioscience and a minor in Psychology from North Carolina State University.
She attended North Carolina State University for her doctorate as well, receiving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She graduated with honors in several areas including soft tissue surgery, dentistry, cardiology, and ultrasound.
Dr. Crenshaw was drawn to the animal care profession because of her childhood dog, Lucky. When Lucky got older, he began to lose function in his back legs and was given a very poor prognosis. Lucky was a fighter, and she was able to work with him to successfully rehab him back to full mobility. Thus, solidifying her love of animal care.
Today, Dr. Crenshaw is a Fear-Free Certified Practitioner who takes pride in making the “trip to the vet” a positive experience for pets and their families.
When not at Southpoint, Dr. Crenshaw loves to explore the outdoors and travel around the world with her husband, Michael. She has a 7-year-old long-haired dachshund mix, Finley.
