Dr. Kate Greif - Veterinarian

Dr. Kate Greif was born into a military family and spent her childhood moving around the world before settling in Iowa.

She attended the University of Iowa where she received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and then continued her education at Iowa State University, where she earned her veterinary degree.

Following graduation, Dr. Greif traded in her Iowa snow shovel for a swimming pool in Arizona, where she spent 6 years providing high quality care as an associate veterinarian for San Tan Animal Hospital.

Dr. Greif was drawn to SPAH due to their exceptional reputation of providing compassionate care in a team-focused environment. Her passions are soft tissue surgery and dentistry; however, she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and is dedicated to providing top-notch care for all of her patients and their families.

Dr. Greif shares her home with her husband, Dusty, and four young children, Macie, Noah, Lincoln and Sawyer. Her favorite activities outside of the hospital include spending time with family, backpacking, riding horses, snowboarding, reading, and traveling.
